It all started as a hobby on the train commuting to Pastry School. A three hour round trip three times a week was more than enough time to create a number of different pieces. Before I knew it, I had more jewelry than I knew what to do with and I could only give away so many pieces to all the women in my family...
An opportunity arose that allowed me to sell my jewelry creations at a local Wellness Center, Wellness Springs, in Highland Mills NY, so, I continued to create more and more. After all, I was in a nine month program and going to school at night so, I had to do something to keep me from falling asleep on the way home and missing my stop!
I was so excited to have a place to show and sell my work that I made more and more and again wound up in the same predicament, with more jewelry than I had homes for. So, I took a shot at a local craft fair and displayed my collection. What a success! I had a great time and sold quite a few pieces, and the comments I received on my designs were overwhemingly positive! I did a few more fairs and received the same positive feedback and sales. Fair after fair, the same question arose, 'Do you have a website?', and while I had never thought about it up until this point, it was the most logical next step.
So, I am happy to introduce our new website: Generation Next Jewelry!
Thanks for taking the time to look at my collections, I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

And on a personal note... after I was laid off from my desk job in January 2008, I completely changed my outlook on life! While I would never tell the person who let me go personally, he saved my youth! I now do what I love (make jewelry and bake pastries, although never together) and have never been happier. I hope you have fun wearing my pieces. I also hope you take all lifes lemons in stride and of course, make lemonade, or in my case, lemon curd and lemon chiffon cake...
